Inleiding
VIJVER met bijbehorend hek, onderdeel van het complex "Middlesex", aangelegd in 1921 in architectonische tuinstijl naar het ontwerp van J. London. De vijver is gelegen aan de zuidzijde, in het verlengde van de oostgevel van de garage tegenover de pergola van het overgangsvolume (voorm. serre) van landhuis naar atelier.
Omschrijving
De vijver, aangelegd in een vrije vorm, wordt aan de zuidzijde omgeven door lage bakstenen hekpijlers, onderling verbonden door twee ronde ijzeren liggers.
Waardering
De vijver met bijbehorend hek is van algemeen belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als onderdeel van het complex "Middlesex", in expressionistische bouwtrant uit het eerste kwart van de 20ste eeuw, gebouwd naar het ontwerp van J.
