Inleiding
Voormalige THEEHUIS, behorende tot het complex "Middlesex", gebouwd in 1923 in expressionistische bouwtrant, naar het ontwerp van J. London. Het theehuis staat vrijstaand aan de zuidzijde van het terrein in een zichtlijn over de vijver, die gelegen is aan de zuidzijde, in het verlengde van de oostgevel van de garage.
Omschrijving
Het theehuis is opgetrokken in rode baksteen op een rechthoekige plattegrond ter hoogte van een bouwlaag onder zadeldak met de noklijn noord-zuid gericht en met open noordgevel. De vensters zijn van hout. Het theehuis is vanaf de noordzijde te betreden via een opstapje tussen borstweringen. In de top van de noordgevel een rond glas-in-loodraam. De oost-, zuid- en westgevel bevatten vensters met roedenverdeling.

Former TEA HOUSE, belonging to the complex "Middlesex", built in 1923 in expressionistic architectural style, to the design of J. London. The tea house is constructed in red brick on a rectangular plan at the level of one storey under a gabled roof with the ridge line oriented north-south and with an open north facade. The windows are of wood. The tea house is accessible from the north side via a step between balustrades. In the apex of the north facade a round stained glass window. The east, south and west facades contain windows with glazing bars.

The former tea house is of general interest owing to architectural and cultural-historical value as a component of the complex "Middlesex", in expressionistic architectural style from the first quarter of the 20th century, built to the design of J. London.
