Omschrijving
DUBBELE OPHAALBRUG uit 1885-1886, gebouwd bij de aanleg van de sluis in het Merwedekanaal. Beide bruggen zijn vervaardigd volgens het technische principe van hameipoort met balans en van vakwerkliggers voorziene priemen. De lassen zijn alle geklonken. De hameipoorten hebben een gietijzeren decoratie en worden door dubbele langsschoren gesteund

Description
DOUBLE BASCULE BRIDGE from 1885-1886, built at the construction of the lock in the Merwedekanaal. Both bridges were manufactured according to the technical principle of a bascule with balance and provided with truss-lattice piers. All welds are riveted. The bascules have cast-iron decoration and are supported by double longitudinal braces.
N.b. The bridge deck has been renewed
