Dubbele BASCULEBRUG, onderdeel uitmakend van het sluizencomplex in en om het Merwedekanaal, gebouwd in 1904 bij aanleg van de sluis in het hier plaatselijk verbrede Merwedekanaal. Horizontale vallen, bewogen door vier geklonken vakwerkkwadranten die deels boven het maaiveld uitsteken. Het bedieningsmechanisme met het bewegingswerk bevindt zich in vier bijbehorende gietijzeren kasten.

Double BASCULE BRIDGE, component of the lock complex in and around the Merwedekanaal, built in 1904 during the construction of the lock in the locally widened Merwedekanaal here. Horizontal leaves, moved by four riveted lattice quadrants that partly protrude above ground level. The operating mechanism with the movement works is located in four associated cast iron boxes.
