Omschrijving
DIENSTWONING behorende bij sluizencomplex Merwedekanaal, gelegen aan de noordzijde van de Everard Meysterlaan. Het vrijstaande pand heeft een L-vormige hoofdopzet van één bouwlaag en een pannen zadeldak met doorlopende nokas. In de oksel van de twee haaks op elkaar staande dakvlakken een lager aanbouwtje met uit beide daken doorgetrokken dakschilden, gescheiden door een kilgoot.
Het pand heeft onder meer schuiframen met zesruits bovenlichten, strekse bogen boven de vensters en luiken. Voorts is de gevel gedecoreerd met gele baksteen banden en een bloklijst. Het dak is gedekt met rode tuile du Nord en heeft een brede houten overstek en houten klossen. De eindgevels zijn voorzien van een beschoten geveltop met gezaagde rand.

Dienstwoning van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als goed en redelijk gaaf voorbeeld van een in onvergangsarchitectuur uitgevoerde dienstwoning. Description
SERVICE DWELLING belonging to the Merwedekanaal lock complex, situated on the north side of the Everard Meysterlaan. The detached building has an L-shaped main layout of one storey and a tiled saddle roof with continuous roof truss. In the junction of the two roof surfaces arranged at right angles a lower extension with roof flaps extended from both roofs, separated by a valley gutter.
The building has, among other things, sash windows with six-pane fanlights, arched voussoirs above the windows and shutters. Furthermore, the elevation is decorated with yellow brick bands and a string course. The roof is covered with red tuile du Nord and has a broad wooden overhang and wooden blocks. The end elevations are provided with a boarded gable top with sawn edge.
