Inleiding
TUINKOEPEL, onderdeel van het complex Villa Jorissen. De links in de tuin staande tuinkoepel is gebouwd in een bouwstijl die verwant is aan de Chaletstijl en de Engelse Stick Style. De tuinkoepel is waarschijnlijk net als de villa en het koetshuis gebouwd in de jaren negentig van de negentiende eeuw.
Omschrijving
De vanuit een octogonale plattegrond, in hout en glas opgetrokken tuinkoepel staat onder een eveneens octogonaal tentdak dat wordt bekroond door een zinken piron. De acht zijden zijn voorzien van voor de Chaletstijl kenmerkend vakwerk. De naar de tuin gerichte gevelzijde bevat een dubbele glasdeur onder een decoratieve boog met sluitstijl, die een variant is van de Tudorboog. De gevelvlakken aan weerszijden zijn voorzien van kruisramen onder een variant van de driepasboog met een grote middenlob en kleine zijlobben. De overige vlakken zijn dicht. Tegen het achterste vlak staat een houten uitbouw, die het uitpandige deel van een kast is.
