Omschrijving onderdeel 5: DRUIVENKAS.
Inleiding
In de ten noordoosten van het voorplein gelegen moestuin, die doorsneden wordt door een naar de brug lopende oprijlaan (zie 6), bevindt zich ten zuidoosten hiervan een DRUIVENKAS uit het begin van de 20ste eeuw. Deze is geplaatst tegen een muur, die een restant is van een 17de-eeuws bijgebouw.
Omschrijving
Uit rode baksteen (kruisverband) opgetrokken muur met twee nisvormige dichtgezette gevelopeningen onder een houten latei vertoont bouwsporen van twee afgekapte dwarsmuren. Aan de zuidoostzijde is een kopse druivenkas met stalen roedenskelet geplaatst op een gepleisterde voet. De entree bevindt zich aan de zuidwestzijde. De noordoostzijde sluit aan op een schuin aflopende gemetselde muur.
Waardering
De kas van de historische buitenplaats Zuydwijk is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als typologisch goed voorbeeld van een kopse druivenkas met stalen roedenskelet uit de jaren 20 van de twintigste eeuw.
De kas is gaaf wat betreft hoofdvorm en materiaalgebruik en heeft ensemblewaarde vanwege de ruimtelijke en functionele relatie met de overige complexonderdelen van de buitenplaats.

Introduction
In the kitchen garden located to the northeast of the forecourt, which is intersected by a driveway leading to the bridge (see 6), there is a GRAPE HOUSE from the early 20th century located to the southeast of this. It is placed against a wall, which is a remnant of a 17th-century outbuilding.
Description
Wall constructed of red brick (cross-bond) with two niche-shaped blocked facade openings under a wooden lintel shows building traces of two cut-off transverse walls. On the southeast side a ridge grape house with steel glazing bar structure is placed on a plastered base. The entrance is located on the southwest side. The northeast side adjoins an inclined brick wall.
Valuation
The greenhouse of the historic country estate Zuydwijk is of general interest because of its cultural and architectural-historical value as a typologically good example of a ridge grape house with steel glazing bar structure from the 1920s.
The greenhouse is intact with regard to principal form and use of materials and has ensemble value because of the spatial and functional relationship with the other complex components of the country estate.
