Inleiding
SILO, onderdeel uitmakend van het complex meelfabriek 'De Sleutels', gebouwd in 1938. De silo, aan drie zijden ingesloten, is gesitueerd aan de zuidzijde van de geclusterde gebouwen.

Begane gronds komen in de zuidelijke langsgevel enkele openingen voor die afwisselend zijn ingevuld met een rolluik of venster en geplaatst zijn onder een over de drie naast elkaar gelegen gebouwen zich voortzettende moderne luifel. De gevel erboven wordt gekenmerkt door een met profiel bouwplaten beklede zijde die tevens de scheidingswand van het naastgelegen gebouw maskeren. Op het door een railing begrensde dak bevindt zich een dakopbouw voornamelijk bestaande uit glas die zich over de drie naast elkaar gelegen gebouwen uitstrekt. Het interieur bevat een betonnen cellenstructuur met trechters op de begane grond.

On the ground floor, several openings appear in the southern longitudinal facade which are alternately filled with a roller shutter or window and placed under a modern canopy extending over the three adjacent buildings.
