Omschrijving
Het KOETSHUIS met portierswoning (3) is gebouwd op een nagenoeg rechthoekige plattegrond en heeft één bouwlaag onder een zadeldak gedekt met gesmoorde verbeterde Hollandse pannen. Op de nok bevindt zich een kleine bakstenen schoorsteen. Het pand is opgetrokken in baksteen, gemetseld in kruisverband. De kopgevels worden afgesloten door met hardstenen platen afgedekte schoudergevels. Links in de VOORGEVEL bevindt zich een door een segmentboog afgesloten muuropening met dubbele deuren, aan weerszijden geflankeerd door een met een segmentboogje afgesloten venster dat voorzien is van een twaalf-ruits ijzeren raam. Geheel rechts bevindt zich de entree van het voormalige kantoorgedeelte, die geflankeerd wordt door twee lage muurtjes die ieder voorzien zijn van een terra-cotta vogelsculptuur. Beide zijn gemaakt als bouwaardwerk naar ontwerp van Hildo Krop ten behoeve van het Wilhelminagasthuis te Amsterdamen. De sculpturen zijn proefstukken van de Opijnensche Steenfabriek. Boven de eenvoudige opgeklampte deur bevindt zich een bovenlicht. Rechts hiervan bevindt zich een drielichts venster waarachter binnenluiken zichtbaar zijn. Beide gevelopeningen worden afgesloten door getoogde strekken en met siermetselwerk in de boogvelden. De LINKER ZIJGEVEL bezit links twee hoog gelegen door segmentboogjes afgesloten vensters die ieder voorzien zijn van een elf-ruits gietijzeren raam. Rechts hiervan bevindt zich een grote door een rondboog afgesloten muuropening die voorzien is van dubbele luiken.
Tegen de ACHTERGEVEL bevindt zich rechts een halfrond venster met een gietijzeren raam. Links bevindt zich in de gevel een uitgehakte rechtgesloten poortopening met dubbele deuren.
De RECHTER ZIJGEVEL heeft op de begane grond een laag aangekapt uitbouwtje. In de geveltop bevindt zich een halfrond afgesloten muuropening die voorzien is van dubbele luiken en geflankeerd wordt door twee door segmentboogjes afgesloten vensters die voorzien zijn van gietijzeren elf-ruits ramen.
Het INTERIEUR bevindt zich nog in oorspronkelijke staat met onder meer houten vloeren en stucplafonds.
Waardering
KOETSHUIS (3) met portierswoning gebouwd in Nieuw-Historiserende stijl omstreeks 1915, vermoedelijk ter vervanging van een ouder gebouw dat mogelijk dezelfde functie heeft gehad. Opmerkelijk zijn de terra-cotta vogelfiguren naar ontwerp van de beeldhouwer HILDO KROP aan weerszijden van de ingang van het kantoorgedeelte. De vogelfiguren zijn ontworpen voor het Wilhelminagasthuis in Amsterdam.
- Van architectuurhistorische waarde als goed voorbeeld van een zorgvuldig uitgevoerd koetshuis met portierswoning in Nieuw-Historiserende stijl, dat onder meer wordt gekenmerkt door de meerruits ramen en een getrapte tuitgevel.

Description
The COACH HOUSE with porter's lodge (3) is built on an approximately rectangular ground plan and has one storey beneath a gabled roof covered with laid-back improved Dutch tiles. On the ridge there is a small brick chimney. The building is constructed in brick, laid in English bond. The end gables are terminated by shoulder gables topped with hard stone slabs. On the left of the FRONT FACADE there is a wall opening closed by a segmental arch with double doors, flanked on both sides by a window closed by a small segmental arch that is fitted with a twelve-pane iron window frame. On the far right there is the entrance to the former office section, which is flanked by two low walls each fitted with a terracotta bird sculpture. Both were made as structural artwork to the design of Hildo Krop for the Wilhelminagasthuis in Amsterdam. The sculptures are trial pieces from the Opijnensche Steenfabriek. Above the simple rebated door there is a fanlight. To the right of this there is a three-light window behind which interior shutters are visible. Both facade openings are closed by arched stretches and with decorative brickwork in the arch fields. The LEFT SIDE FACADE has on the left two high windows closed by small segmental arches, each fitted with an eleven-pane cast-iron window frame. To the right of this there is a large wall opening closed by a round arch fitted with double shutters.
Against the REAR FACADE there is on the right a semicircular window with a cast-iron window frame. On the left there is in the facade a cut-out right-angled gate opening with double doors.
The RIGHT SIDE FACADE has on the ground floor a low attached extension. In the gable top there is a semicircular closed wall opening fitted with double shutters and flanked by two windows closed by small segmental arches fitted with cast-iron eleven-pane window frames.
The INTERIOR is still in its original condition with, among other things, wooden floors and stucco ceilings.
Valuation
COACH HOUSE (3) with porter's lodge built in Neo-Historicist style around 1915, presumably to replace an older building that may have served the same function.
