VILLA, gebouwd in 1938 in een traditionele stijl, naar een ontwerp van M. de Bont.
Omschrijving
Tweelaags bakstenen woonhuis op een T-vormige plattegrond. De nok van het wolfsdak staat haaks op de straat. In de hoek, gevormd door de hoofdmassa en de uitbouw tegen de linkerzijgevel, is een portiek onder lessenaarsdak gebouwd. Het portiek wordt overwelfd door een bakstenen kruisgewelf en heeft op de hoek een overhoekse steunbeer. Daar achter ligt, haaks op de hoofdmassa, een garage onder zadeldak met eindschild. De rechterzijgevel van het woonhuis steekt aan de achterzijde verder uit en heeft een schilddak.
De voorgevel is voorzien van ramen in uiteenlopend formaat maar alle met kleine roedeverdeling. Op de begane grond een brede erker met daarboven een balkon met balustrade van geteerde gepotdekselde planken en met getoogde openslaande deuren. De ingang is in de linkerzijgevel aangebracht, tegen de garage is een portiek met rondboogopeningen onder lessenaarsdak. Aan weerszijden van de ingang zijn kleine ronde raampjes gemaakt. Boven de portiek, ter plekke van de trappartij bevinden zich hoge staande ramen, gevuld met glas-in-lood.
Waardering
De villa is van algemeen belang. De villa is van cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van een culturele en sociaal-economische ontwikkeling. Het pand heeft architectuurhistorische waarde wegens gebruikte traditionele vormgeving. Het is gaaf bewaard gebleven.

Description
Two-storey brick residential house on a T-shaped plan. The ridge of the half-hipped roof runs perpendicular to the street. In the corner, formed by the main mass and the extension against the left side facade, a portico under a lean-to roof has been built. The portico is vaulted by a brick barrel vault and has at the corner a diagonal buttress. Behind it, perpendicular to the main mass, a garage under a gabled roof with end gable. The right side facade of the residential house projects further at the rear and has a hipped roof.
The front facade is furnished with windows in varying formats but all with small glazing bars. On the ground floor a wide bay window with above it a balcony with balustrade of tarred weatherboarded planks and with arched opening doors. The entrance is arranged in the left side facade, against the garage is a portico with round arch openings under a lean-to roof. On either side of the entrance are small round windows. Above the portico, at the location of the stairway are tall vertical windows, filled with stained glass.

The villa is of general importance. The villa has cultural-historical value as an expression of a cultural and socio-economic development. The building has architectural-historical value because of the used traditional design. It has been preserved intact.
