Tegen de rechterzijgevel van de kantine ligt een DIENSTWONING (nr. 39).
Omschrijving
Tweelaags bakstenen huis op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder plat dak. Aan de achterzijde bevindt zich een éénlaagse aanbouw.
Rechts in de voorgevel bevindt zich het portiek met een dubbele stalen deur met grote raampartijen. In het glas is het oude Van Haren-vignet geslepen. De zijkanten van het portiek zijn bol gemetseld. Links in de gevel bevinden zich smalle hoge ramen met metalen kozijnen. De samengestelde ramen op de verdieping hebben eveneens metalen kozijnen. De rechterzijgevel heeft enkele hoge smalle ramen. Naar achter toe is een aantal kleine vierkante ramen aangebracht.
Waardering
De dienstwoning is van algemeen belang. De dienstwoning is van cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van de economische- en typologische ontwikkeling van de schoenenindustrie en de bijbehorende gebouwentypen. Het object heeft architectuurhistorische waarden wegens de bijzondere samenhang van interieur en exterieur en wegens ornamentiek. Description
Two-storey brick house on a rectangular floor plan under flat roof. On the rear side is a single-storey extension.
On the right in the front facade is the porttico with a double steel door with large window sections. In the glass the old Van Haren vignette is engraved. The sides of the porttico are curved in masonry. On the left in the facade are narrow tall windows with metal frames. The composite windows on the first floor also have metal frames. The right side facade has several tall narrow windows. Towards the rear a number of small square windows are placed.
Valuation
The service dwelling is of general importance. The service dwelling is of cultural-historical importance as a particular expression of the economic and typological development of the shoe industry and the associated building types. The object has architectural-historical values due to the particular coherence of interior and exterior and due to ornamentation.
