Inleiding.
LOURDESGROT, gebouwd na de verschijning van Maria aan Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. De grot is vernieuwd in 1904 en maakt deel uit van het complex van het vroegere broederhuis van de Broeders van Saint Louis.
Omschrijving.
Uit gepleisterd baksteen en beton opgetrokken kopie van de grot te Lourdes (Frankrijk) waarin Maria aan Bernadette verscheen. Thans lege nissen en gedenksteen met jaartal van oprichting en tekst: 'Anno Jubilari/MCMIV/A Dogmate Proclamati/A Collegium Initiato XXV'.
Waardering.
De Lourdesgrot is van algemeen belang. LOURDES GROTTO, built after the appearance of Maria to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. The grotto was renovated in 1904 and forms part of the complex of the former fraternity house of the Brothers of Saint Louis.

The Lourdes Grotto is of general importance. The object has cultural-historical significance as a particular expression of a spiritual and typological development, namely the growth of educational congregations and orders in the 19th century; it is of architectural-historical significance because of the use of materials; has ensemble values as part of a larger whole, the core of Oudenbosch, which is of national urban planning significance; it has been preserved intact.
