Inleiding
Aan de westelijke zijde van de terp bevindt zich een eenvoudig BAKHUIS, dat in de huidige vorm dateert uit omstreeks 1925 maar mogelijk een oudere kern heeft.
Omschrijving
Het eenlaags bakhuisje heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en een met golfplaat afgedekt zadeldak. Het sterk gescheurde muurwerk is opgetrokken in cementsteen en voorzien van een vierruits ijzeren venster en een getoogd stalvenster. In de oostelijke gevel is een deur.
Waardering
Het bakhuis is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in het Maasgebied en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de boerderij. Architectuurhistorisch is het pand van belang vanwege de bijzondere samenhang tussen exterieur en interieur. Het geheel is markant gelegen op een verhoging in het landschap en is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het in- en exterieur en als zodanig zeldzaam.

On the western side of the terp is located a simple BAKE HOUSE, which in its present form dates from around 1925 but may have an older core.

The single-storey bake house has a rectangular floor plan and a gabled roof covered with corrugated sheet metal. The heavily cracked brickwork is built up in cement brick and is provided with a four-pane iron window and a segmental arched stable window. A door is located in the eastern gable.

The bake house is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical value as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the Maas area and as an example of the typological development of the farmstead. Architecturally, the building is of importance because of the particular coherence between exterior and interior. The whole is markedly located on a rise in the landscape and is important because of the integrity of the interior and exterior and as such is rare.
