Inleiding
Aan de noordelijke zijde van de terp ligt de uit de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw daterende, deels in hout en deels in cement opgetrokken SCHUUR.
Omschrijving
Het driebeukige, eenlaagse gebouw heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en een door oud Hollandse pannen gedekt schilddak.
Het muurwerk bestaat uit houten gepotdekselde wanden, maar is aan de noordzijde -en in mindere mate aan de zuidzijde- deels versteend. Aan de noordzijde is ook een inrijpoort dichtgezet. De westgevel is in handvorm baksteen opgetrokken en voorzien van varkenspoortjes. In de zuidelijke gevel, die aan het erf grenst, bevinden zich twee deuren, enkele stalvensters en een opgeklampte inrijpoort. Van hieruit is ook de taszolder bereikbaar.
Waardering
De schuur is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in het Maasgebied en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling. Architectuurhistorisch is het pand van belang vanwege de samenhang tussen exterieur en interieur. De boerderij is markant gelegen op een verhoging in het landschap en is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het in- en exterieur en als zodanig zeldzaam.

On the northern side of the terp stands the BARN, dating from the second half of the nineteenth century, constructed partly in wood and partly in cement.

The three-aisled, single-storey building has a rectangular floor plan and a hipped roof covered with old Dutch tiles.
The masonry consists of wooden daubed walls, but is partly bricked on the north side -and to a lesser extent on the south side. On the north side there is also a blocked-up carriage entrance. The west gable is constructed in hand-moulded brickwork and fitted with pig doors. In the southern gable, which borders the farmyard, are two doors, several stable windows and an attached carriage entrance. From here the hay loft is also accessible.
Valuation
The barn is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical significance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the Maas region and as an example of typological development. From an architectural-historical perspective, the property is significant because of the coherence between exterior and interior. The farmhouse is prominently situated on an embankment in the landscape and is important because of the integrity of its interior and exterior and as such is rare.
