Inleiding
Het KOETSHUIS behorend bij het landhuis "Huize Bergen" is gelegen langs de Glorieuxlaan, rechts van de ingang tot het park. Het gebouwtje is opgetrokken in een traditionalistische stijl, naar ontwerp van architect J. Hanrath. Het werd gebouwd in 1915. Het interieur van het voormalige koetshuis is aangepast ten behoeve van de huidige functie (conferentieruimte).
Omschrijving
Het koetshuis telt één bouwlaag onder een samengesteld schilddak, gedekt met leien. Het dak heeft aan beide zijden drie dakkapellen en een kleine vierkante dakruiter. Het gebouwtje heeft een globaal T-vormige plattegrond. De muren zijn opgetrokken in baksteen en worden aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een lijst gevormd door twee licht uitkragende baksteenlagen. Boven de vensters een afdekking in siermetselwerk met tandlijst. De zuidelijke gevel heeft in het midden een dubbele openslaande houten deur met smal bovenlicht. Aan weerszijden hiervan twee rechtgesloten zesruits vensters. De noordelijkegevel van het koetshuis heeft een vooruitspringende middenpartij met twee kruisvensters. In de terugliggende partijen van deze gevel vensters met diverse vormen.

Het koetshuis behorend bij "Huize Bergen" is van algemeen belang. Het koetshuis bezit cultuurhistorische waarde als illustratie van het belang van Vught als landelijke nederzetting met vele landgoederen.
