Inleiding
Het Neo-Gotische HEILIG HARTBEELD is gelegen in het park bij "Huize Steenwijk", tegenover de hoofdingang van het klooster. Het Heilig Hartbeeld dateert waarschijnlijk uit de bouwtijd van het klooster, het eerste decennium van de 20ste eeuw.
Omschrijving
Het Heilig Hartbeeld heeft een sokkel met een driedelige opbouw en een octogonale plattegrond. De sokkel is opgebouwd uit een achtzijdige basis met een schuine geprofileerde afdekking. Hierboven een achtzijdig middengedeelte met in de zijden ondiepe casementen. Hierboven een uitkragend bovengedeelte, waarop het Heilig Hartbeeld is geplaatst. De ranke, zegenende Christusfiguur is gekleed in een sterk geplooid gewaad.

Het Heilig Hartbeeld behorend bij het klooster "Huize Steenwijk" is van algemeen belang.
