Inleiding.
Voormalig KOETSHUIS, verbouwd tot pastorie. Gebouwd naar ontwerp van J. van Groenendael in 1907. In de bouwstijl zijn invloeden van Chaletstijl aanwezig.
Omschrijving.
Eénlaags bakstenen gebouw op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder zadeldak, gedekt met tuiles-du-Nord. De topgevel aan de straatkant is gedeeltelijk betimmerd, beide topgevels, voor en achter, zijn voorzien van windveren. In de rechterzijgevel bevinden zich drie samengestelde ramen, te weten twee driedelige ramen en in het midden een vierdelig raam. Alleen boven het middelste gedeelte van de ramen is een bovenlicht, voorzien van een kleine roedenverdeling aangebracht. Boven het middelste raam bevindt zich een brede segmentboog in het gedeeltelijk vernieuwde metselwerk, mogelijk van een getoogde poort uit de oorspronkelijke situatie. Het boogveld is gepleisterd. In de kopse gevel hebben de ramen dezelfde vormgeving. Boven het raam in de topgevel is een rondboog gemetseld. De nieuwe ingang bevindt zich in de linkerzijgevel. In deze gevel zijn kleine rechthoekige ramen aangebracht, de bovenlichten daarvan zijn gevuld met glas-in-lood. Tegen de achtergevel bevindt zich een kleine serre onder plat dak.
Waardering.
Het gebouw is van cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van een sociaal-economische, geestelijke en typologische ontwikkeling, namelijk de stichting van nieuwe kerkdorpen in het kader van de ontginning van oostelijk Noord-Brabant. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de plaats in het oeuvre van de architect Van Groenendael. Het heeft ensemblewaarde wegens de bijzondere betekenis van de situering, verbonden met de ontwikkeling van het dorp en als essentieel onderdeel van het geheel.

Former COACH HOUSE, converted into a rectory. Built according to the design of J. van Groenendael in 1907. The building style shows influences of Chalet style.
Description.
Single-storey brick building on a rectangular ground plan under a gabled roof, covered with tuiles-du-Nord. The front gable on the street side is partially boarded, both front and rear gables are provided with wind verges. In the right side facade are three composite windows, namely two three-part windows and in the middle a four-part window. Above the middle section of the windows only is a fanlight, provided with a small glazing bar division. Above the middle window is a wide segmental arch in partially renewed masonry, possibly from an arched gateway from the original situation. The arch field is rendered. In the end facade the windows have the same design. Above the window in the gable a round arch is built in. The new entrance is located in the left side facade. In this facade small rectangular windows are installed; their fanlights are filled with leaded glass. Against the rear facade is a small conservatory under a flat roof.
Evaluation.
The building is of cultural-historical importance as an expression of a social-economic, spiritual and typological development, namely the establishment of new church villages in the context of the reclamation of eastern North Brabant. It has architectural-historical value because of its place in the oeuvre of architect Van Groenendael. It has ensemble value because of the special significance of its situation, linked to the development of the village and as an essential part of the whole.
