WOONHUIS, opgetrokken rond 1900 in een regionale variant van de Neo-Renaissance stijl en gelegen aan de zuidelijke van de vier 'kruisstraten' die het oude centrum van Udenhout vormen.
Omschrijving
Eenlaags woonhuis, opgetrokken uit baksteen onder mansardedak met leien in rensdekking op de schilden en kruispannen. Hoekschoorstenen. De voorgevel heeft een hardstenen plint, hoeklisenen en een middenrisaliet met lisenen. In de vlakke velden links en rechts twee schuiframen met rolluiken en segmenttogen met aanzetstenen en sluitstenen met diamantkop.
In de risaliet ingangsportiek met paneeldeur met siersmeedwerk. Gecombineerde tuit- en trapgevel met getoogd T-raam en pinakels. Stoep. In de linker zijgevel een getoogd halfvenster en in de topgevel twee schuiframen, alle met rolluiken. In de rechter zijgevel boven drie getoogde schuiframen.
In de achtergevel twee schuifvensters. Haakse aanbouw onder zadeldak met oud-Hollandse pannen en vernieuwde ramen. Inwendige hal met oorspronkelijke betegeling met marmer en decoratief geschilderde wanden. Bovenlicht met glas-in-lood in florale motieven. In de kamers onder meer marmeren schoorsteenmantels, paneeldeuren en stucplafonds. Links en rechts wordt het erf begrensd door schansmuren met pilasters en tandlijsten uit de bouwtijd.

Het woonhuis is van algemeen belang. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van de toepassing van motieven uit de neostijlen aan een landelijk bouwwerk, dat getuigt van de negentiende-eeuwse bloei van de Meijerij. Single-storey dwelling, built of brickwork under a mansard roof with slates in Rhenish bond on the hipped ends and hip tiles. Corner chimneys. The front facade has a hardstone plinth, corner pilasters and a central risalite with pilasters. In the flat fields left and right two sash windows with roller shutters and segmental arches with springstone and keystones with diamond head.
In the risalite entrance portico with panel door with decorative wrought ironwork. Combined spout and stepped gable with segmental T-window and finials. Stoop. In the left side facade a segmental half-window and in the gable end two sash windows, all with roller shutters. In the right side facade above three segmental sash windows.
In the rear facade two sash windows. Right-angled extension under a gabled roof with old Dutch tiles and renewed windows. Internal hall with original tiling with marble and decoratively painted walls. Fanlight with stained glass in floral motifs. The dwelling is of general importance.
