Inleiding.
KOETSHUIS behorende bij de rond 1850-1860 gebouwde pastorie. De aangebouwde plantenkas valt buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving.
Eenlaags koetshuis, opgetrokken uit baksteen onder zadeldak, gedekt met oud-Hollandse pannen. Gootlijst onder de dakrand. In de voorgevel getoogde inrijpoort met opgeklampte deur en erboven een rondlicht in de topgevel. De zijgevel heeft een zesruits raam en een klein raam, de achtergevel is blind.
Waardering.
Het gebouw is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als getuigenis van het katholieke zelfbewustzijn en als uitdrukking van de typologische ontwikkeling van kerk, kerkhof en pastoorswoning in het midden van de vorige eeuw. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van de evenwichtige verwerking van ambachtelijk-traditionele en neoclassicistische motieven. Het heeft ensemblewaarden als onderdeel van een groep, tezamen met het afzonderlijk te beschermen klooster, die getuigt van de ontwikkeling van het katholieke bouwen. Single-storey coach house, built of brick under gabled roof, covered with old Dutch tiles. Cornice under the roof edge. In the front facade an arched cart entrance with clamped door and above it a round light in the gable. The side gable has a six-pane window and a small window, the rear gable is blind.
Valuation.
The building is of general interest. It has cultural-historical value as a testimony to Catholic self-consciousness and as an expression of the typological development of church, churchyard and rectory in the middle of the previous century. It has architectural-historical value as an example of the balanced treatment of craft-traditional and neoclassical motifs. It has ensemble values as part of a group, together with the separately protected cloister, which testifies to the development of Catholic building. The whole has been well preserved and is rare as a 'Catholic' building complex in austere brick construction.
