Omschrijving onderdeel 4: (Voorsterweg 148; op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr. 4) BOERDERIJ (VM. TOLHUIS)
De vermoedelijk laat 18de-eeuwse BOERDERIJ (type hallehuis) op rechthoekige grondslag staat naar alle waarschijnlijkheid op de oudere fundamenten en ligt vanwege de voormalige functie van tolhuis in de as van de weg. Het pand wordt door een zadeldak met wolfseinden overkapt. De kap (eiken gebinten) wordt bovenaan gedekt met riet en onderaan met grijze oud-Hollandse pannen. Op het wolfseind van de zuidgevel is omstreeks 1960 een dakkapel aangebracht. De gevels zijn opgetrokken met vermoedelijk oudere, hergebruikte stenen in kruisverband aan de voorgevel (zuid) en een onregelmatig verband aan de overige gevels. In de voorgevel zit vlechtwerk. De kozijnen (laat 18de-eeuws?) zijn ondermeer voorzien van zes-ruits schuiframen (ca. 1860). De meeste vensters zijn voorzien van luiken. De deeldeur in de achtergevel heeft een gave korfboog. In het interieur zijn onder meer van belang: de balkenplafonds, bedsteden, broodkastje, klampdeuren met betimmeringen.
Waardering
De BOERDERIJ (VM. TOLHUIS) is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de eenvoudige architectonische vormgeving;
- als bijzonder en functioneel onderdeel van de buitenplaats;
- vanwege de functioneel-ruimtelijke relatie met de andere onderdelen van de buitenplaats;

Description of component 4: (Voorsterweg 148; indicated on the accompanying map with no. 4) FARMHOUSE (FORMERLY TOLL HOUSE)
The presumably late 18th-century FARMHOUSE (hall-type) on rectangular ground plan stands, to all appearances, on older foundations and, because of the former function of toll house, lies in the axis of the road. The building is covered by a gabled roof with half-hipped ends. The roof truss (oak timbers) is covered at the top with thatch and at the bottom with grey old-Dutch tiles. Around 1960 a roof dormer was added to the half-hipped end of the south gavel. The facades are built of presumably older, reused stones in cross bond on the front gavel (south) and in an irregular bond on the other facades. The front gavel contains wattlework. The frames (late 18th century?) are provided with, among other things, six-pane sash windows (ca. 1860). Most windows are provided with shutters. The half door in the rear gavel has a fine basket arch. In the interior are among others important: the beamed ceilings, bedsteads, bread box, batten doors with panelling.

The FARMHOUSE (FORMERLY TOLL HOUSE) is of general importance:
