Omschrijving onderdeel 19: (Bij Voorsterweg 139; op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr. 19) GEMETSELDE DUIKER MET GESMEDE AFSLUITBEUGEL BIJ INRIJPOORT
Deze bijna 15 m. lange DUIKER dateert uit circa 1820-1850. De inlaat- en uitlaatopeningen zijn rond 1920 gedeeltelijk vernieuwd. De eigenlijke duiker bestaat uit een in handvormstenen gemetselde vloer in halfsteens verband (in de langsrichting van de stroom) van 45 cm. breed, met rechte wanden eveneens in handvorm gemetseld in kruisverband en een halfronde toog (tongewelf). De kruinhoogte is 65 cm. De zuidelijke inlaat is in 1920 hersteld met nieuwere, machinale stenen, inclusief de schuin geplaatste wangen. De oorspronkelijk zware zandstenen dekplaat (1,32 m. x 33 x 12 cm.) werd echter opnieuw geplaatst. Het smeedwerk van de schuif is vermoedelijk nog origineel; het bestaat uit staanders met geleiding die aan de bovenzijde overspannen zijn door een accoladevormige beugel, waarin sparing voor een handgreepstaaf. De staaf is thans opgeborgen, de schuif ontbreekt. In 1990 is de uitlaat vernieuwd met handvormstenen, waarbij de originele zandstenen dekplaat van 43 x 32 x 12 cm. is herplaatst. Bij de duiker horen onderdelen (onder meer 2 stuwen en een duiker) die in 1995/1996 werden gemaakt om de waterstanden beter te kunnen regelen, deze onderdelen vallen wegens te geringe ouderdom buiten de bescherming.

Description of component 19: (At Voorsterweg 139; indicated on the accompanying map with no. 19) CULVERT WITH FORGED CLOSING BRACKET AT ENTRANCE GATE
This almost 15 m. long CULVERT dates from circa 1820-1850. The inlet and outlet openings were partly renewed around 1920. The actual culvert consists of a floor built in hand-moulded bricks with half-brick bonding (in the longitudinal direction of the flow) 45 cm. wide, with straight walls also built in hand-moulded brick with cross bonding and a semicircular arch (barrel vault). The crown height is 65 cm. The southern inlet was repaired in 1920 with newer, machine-made bricks, including the obliquely placed cheeks. The original heavy sandstone coping (1.32 m. x 33 x 12 cm.) was however replaced. The forged work of the sluice is presumably still original; it consists of stanchions with guides that are spanned at the top by an accolade-shaped bracket, with a space for a hand-grip bar. The bar is now stored, the sluice is missing. In 1990 the outlet was renewed with hand-moulded bricks, with the original sandstone coping of 43 x 32 x 12 cm. being replaced. Associated with the culvert are components (including 2 weirs and a culvert) made in 1995/1996 to better regulate water levels; these components fall outside the protection due to insufficient age.
