Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 11: BOSWACHTERSWONING.
Aan de Waaldijk staat een bakstenen woning uit 1851 (zie sluitsteen). Het op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken dijkhuis wordt overkapt door een met gesmoorde verbeterde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met overstek voorzien van gesneden windveren. De vierassige voorgevel heeft zesruitsvensters met luiken en een excentrisch geplaatste toegangsdeur met tweeruits bovenlicht. In de zijgevel een dubbele getoogde inrijdeur met links een staldeur en op de verdieping een hooiluik.

De BOSWACHTERSWONING is van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 11: FORESTER'S DWELLING.
On the Waaldijk stands a brick dwelling from 1851 (see keystone). The dike house constructed on a rectangular ground plan is covered with a gabled roof with overhang covered with muted improved Dutch tiles and fitted with carved bargeboard trim. The four-bay front facade has six-pane windows with shutters and an eccentrically positioned entrance door with two-pane fanlight. In the side facade a double segmental arch carriage entrance with on the left a barn door and on the upper floor a hay door.
