Omschrijving onderdeel 2: HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG.
De oudste drager van de structuur van de buitenplaats wordt gevormd door een oost-westas, de Grote Allee, en enkele dwarslanen. De toegangslaan, die vanaf de dijk loodrecht op het huis is geprojecteerd en de Grote Allee kruist, dateert uit het begin van de l9de eeuw. De Grote Allee kent deels, vooral aan de westzijde, nog dubbele laanbeplanting van eiken en beuken, meer oostwaarts is de laanbeplanting verdwenen op enkele oude beukenbomen na. Aan weerszijden van de Grote Allee is een samenstel van rechthoekige percelen van productiebos en hakhout, weilanden en akkers doorsneden door oude bomen (eiken en beuken). De toegangslaan naar het huis wordt geflankeerd door bospartijen met aan de linker zijde een sterrenbos als neoformeel element. Het sterrenbos ligt op een rechthoekig door greppels/sloten omgeven perceel met in het midden een kom. Rondom de kom staan lindebomen (circa 1840). Om het huis is een kleinschalige aanleg in landschapsstijl bestaande uit een gazon met rondgaand pad voor het huis en een door bomen omzoomde weide achter het huis (noord). In de noordoostelijke hoek van het park, bevindt zich aan het looppad, tussen de bomen een halfronde, negentiende-eeuwse tuinmuur voor de teelt van leifruit. Ten westen van het huis ligt een grote rechthoekige moestuin.
Waardering
De HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de kleinschalige aanleg in landschapsstijl rondom het huis gelegen binnen het l8de-eeuwse lanenpatroon;
- vanwege het sterrenbos als typische onderdeel van de aanleg bij een buitenplaats;
- vanwege de functioneel-ruimtelijke samenhang met de andere onderdelen van de buitenplaats.

Description component 2: HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT.
The oldest structural element of the country estate is formed by an east-west axis, the Grote Allee, and some cross lanes. The access drive, which runs perpendicular to the house from the dike and crosses the Grote Allee, dates from the beginning of the 19th century. The Grote Allee is characterized in places, especially on the west side, by double avenue plantings of oaks and beeches, further eastwards the avenue planting has disappeared except for some old beech trees. On either side of the Grote Allee is a complex of rectangular plots of productive woodland and coppice, meadows and fields intersected by old trees (oaks and beeches). The access drive to the house is flanked by woodland areas with on the left side a star-shaped wood as a neoformal element. The star wood is situated on a rectangular plot enclosed by ditches/watercourses with in the middle a basin. Around the basin stand lime trees (circa 1840). Around the house is a small-scale layout in landscape style consisting of a lawn with circular path in front of the house and a meadow bordered by trees behind the house (north). In the north-eastern corner of the park, there is on the walking path between the trees a semicircular, 19th-century garden wall for the cultivation of espalier fruit. To the west of the house lies a large rectangular kitchen garden.

The HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT is of general importance:

- on account of its small-scale layout in landscape style situated within the 18th-century avenue pattern;
