Omschrijving onderdeel 5: PRIEEL.
Ter zijde van het huis staat een vroeg-l9de-eeuws prieel van bijzonder gedetailleerd vakwerk van bamboe geïnspireerd op het voorbeeldenboek van tuinsieraden van G. van Laar (1802). Het op zeshoekige grondslag opgetrokken prieel staat op een bakstenen voet met een stervormig gelegde vloer. Het bamboe is in geometrische patronen gevlochten onder een ingesnoerd zeszijdig dakje bekroond door een zeszijdig naar buiten zwenkende bekroning met ornamentering en afgesloten door een bol en een spits. Aan de voorzijde een open ingang geflankeerd door twee vensteropeningen.

Het PRIEEL is van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 5: ARBOUR.
Beside the house stands an early 19th-century arbour of particularly detailed decorative timber framing in bamboo inspired by the garden ornaments pattern book of G. van Laar (1802). The arbour, constructed on a hexagonal ground plan, stands on a brick base with a star-patterned floor. The bamboo is woven in geometric patterns beneath a constricted hexagonal roof crowned by a hexagonal outward-projecting finial with ornamentation and topped by a sphere and a spire. At the front an open entrance flanked by two window openings.
