The former MORTUARY CHAPEL with extension possesses a complex ground plan. The oldest part (western) has a rectangular ground plan, has one high storey and a gabled roof with the ridge direction perpendicular to the front gable and a covering of red Tuiles du Nord tiles with flat covering. Against its right side gable adjoins a rectangular building part with flat roof, which is of slightly later date. The mortuary chapel has brick walls laid in Flemish bond, provided with a slightly projecting brick plinth with drip moulding. Both gable ends have outward-projecting shoulders resting here on natural stone consoles with straight upper side, terminating with natural stone saddle-back ridges. The sloping sides of the gable ends terminate with brick saddle-back ridges. Both gable ends end at the top with a partly natural stone, partly brick pinnacle with saddle-back ridge and diagonal placement finial. The front gable has a pointed-arch window and door opening with profiled brick reveals. Below is a wide arched entrance with segmental arch and double wooden battened door, above it a large pointed-arch window with partly brick, partly natural stone tracery with three lancets and with figurative stained glass. The left side gable is executed blind. In the rear gable, located at the New Jewish section, on the left side a non-original entrance with lintel and battened door and at the top of the gable a pointed-arch window with partly brick, partly natural stone tracery. The EXTENSION against the right side gable has brick walls laid in Flemish bond with projecting plinth with drip moulding. The fixed gables terminate at the top with a brick cornice with small brick niches. In the front gable of the extension there is a window with lintel, brick drip-mould and a 4-light casement window. In the right side gable there are two entrances with lintel, jamb with quirk, wooden doors with head casings. Furthermore, a window with lintel and single-light window and a narrow entrance with door and two-light fanlight. Yellow brick speckle course; drip moulding below the frame ornaments.
