Inleiding
DUBBELE ARBEIDERSWONING gebouwd in 1862, als onderdeel van het voormalige glasfabriekscomplex 'De Glashut', oorspronkelijk bestaande uit 18 arbeiderswoningen, verdeeld over drie woonblokken. Thans gerenoveerd en door samenvoeging negen woningen bevattend.
Omschrijving
De DUBBELE ARBEIDERSWONING gebouwd in 1862 bestaat uit één bouwlaag op een rechthoekig grondplan onder een zadeldak tussen tuitgevels met de nok evenwijdig aan de weg en gedekt met rode Oudhollandse pannen. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in baksteen in staandverband met rollagen boven de venster- en deuropeningen. De voorgevel en rechterzijgevel zijn donkerbruin geschilderd (na brand). De achtergevel is voorzien van een houten betimmering van verticale rabatdelen. De voorgevel (zuidzijde) is een symmetrisch ingedeelde langsgevel met aan weerszijden van twee centraal geplaatste deuren met een bovenlicht, een negenruits schuifvenster.
De rechterzijgevel bevat een vierruits venster op de begane grond en een links van het midden op de verdieping. Tegen de linkerzijgevel is een moderne houten aanbouw met ingangspartij geplaatst onder een zadeldak met doorgetrokken dakschild. Deze aanbouw sluit aan op het volgende woonblok en vormt inwendig een verbinding met woning nummer 122 (120 en 122 zijn samengevoegd). De achtergevel heeft rechts een vernieuwde houten aanbouw en links een negenruits schuifvenster. Bij woning nummer 120 bevindt zich een kleine kelder, die oorspronkelijk onder een bedstede was gelegen.

The DOUBLE WORKERS' DWELLING built in 1862 consists of one storey on a rectangular ground plan under a gabled roof between spout gables with the ridge parallel to the road and covered with red Oudhollandse tiles. The facades are constructed in brick in stretcher bond with courses above the window and door openings. The front facade and right side facade are painted dark brown (after fire). The rear facade is fitted with wooden cladding of vertical rebated boards. The front facade (south side) is a symmetrically arranged longitudinal facade with on either side of two centrally placed doors with a fanlight, a nine-pane sash window.
The right side facade contains a four-pane window on the ground floor and one to the left of centre on the upper storey. Against the left side facade a modern wooden extension with entrance section is placed under a gabled roof with extended roof panel. This extension adjoins the next residential block and forms internally a connection with dwelling number 122 (120 and 122 have been amalgamated). The rear facade has on the right a renewed wooden extension and on the left a nine-pane sash window. At dwelling number 120 there is a small cellar, which was originally located beneath a bed alcove.

The property is of general importance on account of its cultural and architectural-historical value as an externally well-preserved example of a nineteenth-century double workers' dwelling, and also as a remnant of the former glass factory complex.
