Inleiding.
Nabij de reeds eerder beschermde R.K. Kerk van Sint Petrus Banden, monumentnummer 31362, gelegen R.K. PASTORIE, gebouwd in 1859 naast de toenmalige Waterstaatskerk.
Omschrijving.
Tweelaags woonhuis met eenlaags haakse zijvleugels, opgetrokken uit baksteen en later gewit. De vleugels zijn voorzien van zadeldaken met respectievelijk Oudhollandse en verbeterde Hollandse pannen. Het middenblok heeft een schilddak met hoekschoorstenen en is gedekt met beverstaartpannen.
Symmetrische voorgevel van vijf traveeën met beneden entree met openslaande paneeldeur en gedeeld bovenlicht. Links en rechts twee achtruits schuiframen. Bovenlichten met glas-in-lood. Boven vijf zesruits schuiframen. Geprofileerde gootlijst met gestuct cassettenfries. Dakkapel met fronton en kleine roedenramen. In de zijgevels respectievelijk een zesruits raam en rondvenster en in de kroonlijst smalle spleetramen. De achtergevel heeft een identieke indeling. De oostelijke haakse vleugel heeft een rondbogige koetspoort en in de topgevel een vierruits rondvenster. Getrapte tandlijst. Bakstenen muur met pilaster en ezelsrug langs de Torenbeemd. Achter getoogd venster en laadluik in de topgevel. De rechter aanbouw is identiek aan de linker, verbonden met de neogotische kerk en heeft in plaats van de koetspoort twee zesruits stalen ramen en aan de achterzijde een breed en hoog lichtraam met kleine roedenverdeling.
Waardering.
Het pand is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als vertegenwoordiger van de kerkelijke ontwikkeling en de emancipatie van de katholieken in zuidelijk Nederland. Het heeft architectonische waarde als voorbeeld van de wijze waarop de typologie van het blokvormig herenhuis voor pastorale woningen wordt toegepast. Het pand heeft ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van de deels beschermde dorpskern van Oisterwijk en vanwege de samenhang met de reeds eerder beschermde kerk.

Description.
Two-storey dwelling house with one-storey angled side wings, constructed from brick and later whitened. The wings are provided with gabled roofs with respectively old Dutch and improved Dutch tiles. The central block has a hipped roof with angle chimneys and is covered with beaver-tail tiles.
Symmetrical front facade of five bays with below entrance with French panelled door and divided fanlight. Left and right two eight-pane sash windows. Fanlights with stained glass. Above five six-pane sash windows. Moulded gutter line with stuccoed cassette frieze. Roof dormer with pediment and small-paned windows. In the side facades respectively a six-pane window and round window and in the cornice narrow slit windows. The rear facade has an identical layout. The eastern angled wing has a round-headed carriage entrance and in the gable a four-pane round window. Stepped dentil course. Brick wall with pilaster and donkey's back along the Torenbeemd. Behind round-headed window and loading hatch in the gable. The right extension is identical to the left, connected to the neogothic church and has instead of the carriage entrance two six-pane steel windows and on the rear side a broad and tall light window with fine glazing bars.
Valuation.
The building is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as a representative of church development and the emancipation of Catholics in southern Netherlands. It has architectural value as an example of how the typology of the block-form manor house is applied to parsonage dwellings. The building has ensemble value as part of the partly protected village core of Oisterwijk and because of the relationship with the previously protected church.
