Omschrijving
BOERDERIJ "Frans Joseph-hoeve" (1872) gebouwd als onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats "Babberich" met Duitse architectuurinvloeden, gelegen ten noordoosten van het huis aan de rechte laan. De boerderij met rechthoekige plattegrond, bestaande uit anderhalve bouwlaag en een zolder wordt aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een zadeldak met gesmoorde pannen. De hallehuisboerderij bestaat uit een voor (woon)- en achterhuis (werk). Het voorhuis wordt gekenmerkt door een symmetrische voorgevel met centraal geplaatste deur met aan weerszijden een 6-ruits schuifraam met op de verdieping drie kleine glasvensters en in de geveltop een rond venster met gietijzeren, diagonaal geplaatst, geornamenteerd roedenkruis. Op de voorgevel bevindt zich in zwart geschilderde letters de naam "Frans Joseph-hoeve". In de beide zijgevels bevinden zich ter plaatse van het voorhuis een voormalig schuifraam, ter plaatse van het achterhuis stalramen en luiken. De langsgevels zijn regelmatig verdeeld door lisenen. De achtergevel kenmerkt zich als onderdeel van het achterhuis door een centrale, dubbele, geklampte, kraalschroten, licht getoogde deur met aan weerszijden een stalraam, waarboven een centraal geplaatst hooiluik met spitsboog met aan weerszijden een rond venster als in de voorgevel van het voorhuis. Rechtsonder bevindt zich een dichtgemetselde hondenopening met in de geveltop een tiental vlieggaten (duiven). In de achtergevel bevindt zich een gevelsteen met de inscriptie "Mr Richard Jan/ de Neree/ van/ Babberich en Kamphuijsen/ 1872". Beide topgevels zijn voorzien van een geprofileerde bakstenen rand. Tegen de rechterzijgevel bevindt zich een eenlaags aanbouw afgesloten door een zadeldak. Een dergelijke aanbouw is streekeigen. Het interieur is grotendeels bewaard gebleven zoals onder meer de scheiding tussen voor- en achterhuis en de gebint- en kapconstructie. Het voorhuis bestaat uit een middengang met aan weerszijden een kamer en een kelder. Het achterhuis is de voormalige deel met een kap- en gebintconstructie met dubbele balklaag.

FARM "Frans Joseph-hoeve" (1872) built as part of the historic country estate "Babberich" with German architectural influences, located to the northeast of the house on the straight lane. The farm with rectangular plan, consisting of one and a half storeys and an attic is closed at the top by a gabled roof with hipped pantiles. The hall-house farm consists of a front (residential) and rear house (working). The front house is characterized by a symmetrical front facade with a centrally placed door flanked on either side by a 6-pane sash window with on the upper storey three small windows and in the gable apex a round window with cast-iron, diagonally placed, ornamented glazing bars. On the front facade, the name "Frans Joseph-hoeve" appears in black painted letters. In both side facades, at the location of the front house there is a former sash window, at the location of the rear house stable windows and shutters. The longitudinal facades are regularly divided by pilasters. The rear facade is characterized as part of the rear house by a central, double, clamped, beaded, slightly arched door flanked on either side by a stable window, above which a centrally placed hay door with pointed arch with on either side a round window as in the front facade of the front house.
