Inleiding.
De WONING uit 1914 is gebouwd in Art Nouveaustijl. Zij is gelegen op het voorerf, aan de toegangsweg en wordt omsloten door de tuin. Aan de achterzijde is omstreeks 1960 een serre aangebouwd die buiten de bescherming valt.
Omschrijving.
De eenlaags bakstenen woning is gebouwd op L-vormig grondplan met een aangebouwde, iets lagere keukenvleugel. Het pand heeft een gestucte plint rondom en dito fries, dat in de voorgevel van het woongedeelte is voorzien van ornamenteringen. De gevels zijn voorzien van natuurstenen speklagen en hebben getoogde raam- en deuropeningen met geprofileerde, hardstenen aanzet- en sluitstenen en hardstenen onderdorpels. Onder de vensters zijn natuurstenen ornamenteringen aangebracht. De schuiframen hebben sierroeden en een rechtgesloten bovenlicht met dito detaillering. De houten paneeldeuren in de voor- en zijgevel van het woongedeelte hebben dezelfde bovenlichten. De deuren in de keukenvleugel zijn minder gedetailleerd. Enkele ramen en deuren in de achtergevel zijn recentelijk gewijzigd. Het samengestelde schilddak, dat oorspronkelijk was belegd met leien in Maasdekking is recentelijk nieuw belegd met bitumenleien in Maasdekking. De daklijst aan de voorzijde van het woongedeelte rust op klossen. De indeling van het interieur heeft recentelijk enige wijzigingen ondergaan maar bevat zeer rijke details. De woonkamer, die oorspronkelijk uit een voor- en een achterkamer bestond, heeft een stucplafond in Art Nouveau-stijl met rijke beschildering. Ook de houten paneeldeuren hebben een dergelijke beschildering. Dit vertrek heeft nog een gedetailleerde schouw. De gang heeft een terrazzo vloer, een lambrisering van facettegels en een gestuct plafond. In het trappenhuis is een houten trap en dito trappaal met detaillering geplaatst.
Waardering.

The building has a stuccoed plinth all around and the same frieze, which in the front facade of the residential section is provided with ornamentation. The facades are provided with natural stone banding and have arched window and door openings with profiled, hard stone setting and closing stones and hard stone sills. Below the windows natural stone ornamentation has been applied. The sash windows have decorative glazing bars and a straight-topped fanlight with the same detailing. The wooden panelled doors in the front and side facade of the residential section have the same fanlights. The doors in the kitchen wing are less detailed. Some windows and doors in the rear facade have been recently altered. The composite hipped roof, which was originally covered with slates in Maas bond, has recently been newly covered with bituminous slates in Maas bond. The roof cornice on the front side of the residential section rests on corbels. The interior layout has recently undergone some alterations but contains very rich details. The living room, which originally consisted of a front and a back room, has a stuccoed ceiling in Art Nouveau style with rich painted decoration.
