HEKWERK waarin TOEGANGSHEK van de Schweer bey der Beckestichting uit ca. 1912, dat de hof scheidt van het voorplein. Het hek bestaat uit een door hardsteen afgedekte bakstenen plint met hierop, op regelmatige afstand geplaatste, bakstenen kolommen bekroond door hardstenen bollen. Tussen deze kolommen zijn ijzeren spijlenhekken geplaatst. Ter plaatse van de ingang zijn twee kolommen hoger opgetrokken en ieder voorzien van een bekroning in de vorm van een lantaarn. Op de linker kolom is het wapen van Amsterdam aangebracht en op de rechter kolom het wapen van de gemeente Rheden. Beide kolommen worden door een sierlijke smeedijzeren boog met elkaar verbonden. In de boog zijn in smeedijzeren letters de volgende teksten aangebracht: DIA / SCHWEER BEY DER BECKE STICHTING / DIACONIE DER NED. HERV. GEM. TE AMSTERDAM. Tussen de kolommen bevindt zich een dubbel ijzeren draaihek.

FENCEWORK including ENTRANCE GATE of the Schweer bey der Becke Stichting from circa 1912, which separates the courtyard from the forecourt. The gate consists of a brick plinth capped with hardstone, on which are placed at regular intervals brick columns crowned with hardstone spheres. Between these columns are placed iron railing fences. At the entrance, two columns are built higher and each provided with a crown in the form of a lantern. On the left column is the coat of arms of Amsterdam and on the right column the coat of arms of the municipality of Rheden. Both columns are connected by an ornamental wrought-iron arch. In the arch the following texts are inscribed in wrought-iron letters: DIA / SCHWEER BEY DER BECKE STICHTING / DIACONIE DER NED. HERV. GEM. TE AMSTERDAM. Between the columns is a double iron revolving gate.
