Omschrijving
De begraafplaats heeft een fraaie gecombineerde formele en romantisch landschappelijke AANLEG waarbij de nadruk op de eerste ligt. De essentie van de aanleg wordt gevormd door twee in elkaars verlengde gelegen ronde kernen waaromheen de graven van diverse klassen in concentrische cirkels gegroepeerd liggen. De beplanting op de begraafplaats wordt gevormd door onder meer beuken en andere loofbomen, taxus en coniferen. De omheining wordt gevormd door een beukenhaag.

AANLEG van de Algemene Begraafplaats uit 1842.
