Omschrijving onderdeel 2: PARKAANLEG, midden XIX.
Het betreft een bescheiden landschappelijke aanleg ten zuiden en zuidwesten van het huis; de aanleg bestaat uit een langwerpig grasveld ten zuiden van het huis; hierin ligt een kleine ronde poel met berken en verder staan er enkele fraaie solitairen, waaronder een Liriodendron, een eik en twee oude linden nabij de zuidoosthoek van het huis; aan de westzijde van het grasveld ligt een slingervijver met rododendrons, die het gezicht vanuit het huis diagonaalsgewijs in zuidwestelijke richting begeleiden; de vijver is omgeven door een wandelbos met restanten van slingerpaden; het reeds genoemde grasveld wordt aan de zuidkant begrensd door een laangedeelte dat deel uitmaakt van een bochtige zandweg, die over het kleine landgoed loopt; hij begint bij de Boekhorstlaan en eindigt bij de Lageweg, die ten noorden van het complex in oostwestrichting loopt; de zandweg heeft per gedeelte al dan niet een regelmatige laanboombeplanting; het fraaiste deel, te weten in de grote bocht in het zuidwesten, is beplant met enkele rijen oude beuken; het meest noordelijke deel, dat uitkomt op de Lageweg, is beplant met enkele rijen eiken. Ten oosten en ten zuiden van het grasveld liggen hoge akkers en weien; de hoge wei ten oosten van het grasveld wordt hiervan gescheiden door een groep beuken en een halfopen singel van rododendrons; aan de andere kant wordt deze wei begrensd door de Boekhorstlaan, die in zuid- noord richting loopt vanaf de Zutphenseweg naar de Lageweg; de Boekhorstlaan met halverwege een flauwe bocht, is thans een geasfalteerde openbare weg, die per gedeelte een verschillende laanbeplanting kent: het eerste deel (vanaf het zuiden gezien) wordt begeleid door enkele rijen jonge linden; het tweede deel door Amerikaanse eiken, aan de westkant enkel, aan de oostkant dubbel in driehoeksverband; het derde deel (na de flauwe bocht) heeft links oude linden in een zeer vlak driehoeksverband en rechts dezelfde eiken als in het tweede deel. De korte oprit van de Boekhorstlaan naar het huis is beplant met eiken; tussen dit laantje en de hoge wei ligt een bosje met voornamelijk beuken; de bijgebouwen liggen direct ten noorden van het laantje; deze gebouwen zijn in de loop der jaren vervreemd van de buitenplaats; ten westen van deze gebouwen ligt een klein bosje met oud loofhout; de sloot tussen het huis en dit bosje verbreedt zich ten noordwesten van het huis tot een smalle vijver. Alle andere kleine akkers, weiden en bospercelen hebben meer een landgoedkarakter. Zij zijn vanwege de landschappelijke verwevenheid met de eigenlijke kleine aanleg opgenomen in het beschermde complex.
Waardering
De PARKAANLEG is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de bescheiden doch indrukwekkende aanleg van met name de vijverpartij;

Description component 2: PARK LAYOUT, mid-19th century.
It concerns a modest landscape layout to the south and south-west of the house; the layout consists of an elongated lawn to the south of the house; in it lies a small round pool with birches and further there stand several fine specimen trees, including a Liriodendron, an oak and two old limes near the south-east corner of the house; on the west side of the lawn lies a meandering pond with rhododendrons, which guides the view from the house diagonally in a south-westerly direction; the pond is surrounded by a woodland walk with remains of meandering paths; the aforementioned lawn is bounded on the south side by a lane section that forms part of a winding sand road, which runs over the small estate; it begins at the Boekhorstlaan and ends at the Lageweg, which runs to the north of the complex in an east-west direction; the sand road has, per section, whether or not a regular tree-lined avenue planting; the finest section, namely in the large bend in the south-west, is planted with several rows of old beeches; the most northern section, which opens onto the Lageweg, is planted with several rows of oaks. To the east and south of the lawn lie high fields and meadows; the high meadow to the east of the lawn is separated from these by a group of beeches and a half-open shelterbelt of rhododendrons; on the other side this meadow is bounded by the Boekhorstlaan, which runs in a south-north direction from the Zutphenseweg to the Lageweg; the Boekhorstlaan, with a shallow bend halfway along, is now an asphalted public road, which per section has different tree-lined avenue planting: the first section (seen from the south) is accompanied by several rows of young limes; the second section by American oaks, on the west side single, on the east side double in triangular formation; the third section (after the shallow bend) has on the left old limes in a very flat triangular formation and on the right the same oaks as in the second section. The short drive from the Boekhorstlaan to the house is planted with oaks; between this lane and the high meadow lies a copse with mainly beeches; the outbuildings are located directly to the north of the lane; these buildings have been separated from the country estate over the years; to the west of these buildings lies a small copse with old deciduous woodland; the ditch between the house and this copse widens to the north-west of the house into a narrow pond. All other small fields, meadows and woodland parcels have more of an estate character. They are included in the protected complex on account of the landscape integration with the actual small layout.

- on account of the modest yet impressive layout in particular of the pond section;
- on account of the visual-landscape values in the surrounding agricultural area.
