Inleiding
BOERDERIJ van het langgeveltype, gesticht ca. 1900 en deel uitmakend van een boerderijcomplex, gelegen nabij de kom van de rond 1915 tot stand gekomen ontginningsnederzettingWesterbeek. Op het erf enige oude eiken uit de bouwtijd en beukenhagen. Oprijlaan met bolacacias.
Omschrijving
Langgevelboerderij, opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen onder zadeldak met muldenpannen. Het woongedeelte heeft een gepleisterde plint en telt drie raamassen. Middeningang in portiek. Links en rechts getoogde schuiframen met sierstucwerk erboven. Beneden een vernieuwde vierruits raamindeling en luiken, bovenlicht met achtruits indeling. Tandlijst onder de goot en boven de ingang een topgevel met gemetselde makelaars en schuifraam met zesruits bovenlicht. In de rechter zijgevel beneden identieke ramen als in de voorgevel en erboven een verkleinde versie met zesruits bovenlicht. Topgevel metwindveren.
Het bedrijfsgedeelte is thans verbouwd tot atelier, maar behield de deur van de voorstal, een tweede deur, ijzeren zesruits stalramen en een topgeveltje met hooiluik. In de korte stalgevel een deur met gedeeld bovenlicht, achtruits stalramen en een hooiluik waarboven een een klein rondvenster.
Tegen de lange achtergevel een latere stalaanbouw, welke deels is gewijzigd rond 1980.
Waardering
Het gebouw is van algemeen belang en heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als getuigenis van de sociaal-economische en geografische ontwikkeling. Het is tevens van belang vanwege het pionierskarakter in relatie tot de ontginning van de Peelen de stichting van een ontginningsdorp. Het heeft ensemblewaarden vanwege de situering, nauw verbonden met deontwikkeling van het dorp. Het is gaaf bewaard gebleven en een goed voorbeeld van een ontginningsboerderij in de Peel.

Description
Long-gabled farmhouse, constructed of machine-made brick under a gabled roof with curved tiles. The residential section has a plastered plinth and comprises three window bays. Central entrance in a porch. Left and right curved sash windows with decorative stucco above. Below a renewed four-pane window arrangement and shutters, fanlight with eight-pane arrangement. Dentil moulding under the gutter and above the entrance a gable with brick dressing and sash window with six-pane fanlight. In the right side gable below windows identical to those in the front gable and above a reduced version with six-pane fanlight. Gable with wind vanes.
The business section has now been converted to a studio, but retained the door of the cow shed, a second door, iron six-pane stable windows and a small gable with hayloft opening. In the short stable gable a door with divided fanlight, eight-pane stable windows and a hayloft opening above which a small round window.
Against the long rear gable a later stable extension, which was partially altered around 1980.
Valuation
The building is of general importance and has cultural-historical value as evidence of social-economic and geographical development. It is also of importance because of its pioneering character in relation to the reclamation of the Peelen and the establishment of a reclamation village. It has ensemble values because of its setting, closely linked to the development of the village. It has been well preserved and is a good example of a reclamation farm in the Peel.
