Omschrijving
Inleiding.
R.K.KERKHOF uit de 18de en 19de eeuw. Het vijfhoekige perceel wordt begrensd door de Noordhoek, Heytmorgen en Rozenlaan. Op het kerkhof bevond zich tot ca. 1925 de uit de 18de en 19de eeuw daterende eenbeukige kerk, die in 1925 werd vervangen door een nieuwe, eveneens aan de H. Antonius Abt kerk toegewijde kerk, gelegen tegenover het kerkhof eveneens op de hoek met de Heytmorgen.
Omschrijving.
Het kerkhof is grotendeels omheind door een schansmuur met steunberen en gedekt door een ezelsrug. In de muur bevindt zich een smeedijzeren poort met het opschrift: Memento Mori en in een nis een Mariabeeldje achter smeedijzeren rooster. In de hof schuin tegenover de ingang een calvarieberg met rondhouten kruis met stenen corpus.
Op het kerkhof diverse monumentale graven, de belangrijkste zijn: een reeds eerder beschermd grafkruis uit 1703 (rijksmonument); een natuurstenen graf van Mgr. Borret uit 1839; een gietijzeren kruis voorzien van corpus met ervoor liggend een gebeeldhouwd natuurstenen familiewapen en een natuurstenen graf van Dr. C.F. Xavier Smits uit 1876 met Christusbeeld als Goede Herder, beeldhouwer A. van Bokhoven, 's-Hertogenbosch. Het kerkhof is omzoomd binnen de schansmuur door een dubbele rij oude snoeilindes, totaal vijfennegentig stuks. Midden op het kerkhof staan vier oude beuken met een omtrek van ca. 2,5 meter. Buiten de muur staan eveneens oude verschillende typen naaldbomen.
Waardering.
Het kerkhof met grafmonumenten is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een cultuurhistorische en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van het katholicisme in het Land van Ravenstein en de katholieke grafcultuur, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van het grafmonument. Het heeft tevens belang als materialisatie van de ontwikkeling van het katholicisme sinds de 18de eeuw.
Het heeft kunsthistorisch belang door de diverse monumenten. Het heeft ensemblewaarden als onderdeel van een groter geheel dat cultuurhistorisch van belang is. Het is gaaf bewaard gebleven en typologisch zeldzaam.

R.C. CEMETERY from the 18th and 19th centuries. The pentagonal plot is bounded by the Noordhoek, Heytmorgen and Rozenlaan. On the cemetery there stood until approximately 1925 the single-aisled church dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, which in 1925 was replaced by a new church, also dedicated to the H. Antonius Abbot church, situated opposite the cemetery also on the corner with the Heytmorgen.
Description.
The cemetery is largely enclosed by a parapet wall with buttresses and covered by a ridge. In the wall there is a wrought-iron gate with the inscription: Memento Mori and in a niche a Mary figure behind a wrought-iron grille. In the yard diagonally opposite the entrance a calvary hill with round wooden cross with stone corpus.
On the cemetery various monumental graves, the most important are: a previously protected grave cross from 1703 (national monument); a natural stone grave of Mgr. Borret from 1839; a cast-iron cross furnished with corpus with in front a carved natural stone family coat of arms and a natural stone grave of Dr. C.F. Xavier Smits from 1876 with Christ figure as Good Shepherd, sculptor A. van Bokhoven, 's-Hertogenbosch. The cemetery is lined within the parapet wall by a double row of old pruned lime trees, a total of ninety-five specimens. In the middle of the cemetery stand four old beeches with a girth of approximately 2.5 metres. Outside the wall also stand old various types of conifers.
