HERENHUIS, gebouwd omstreeks 1880 in een eclectische stijl.
Omschrijving
Het huis telt drie bouwlagen waarbij de begane grond veel lager is dan de twee verdiepingen daarboven. Het heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en een schilddak waarvan de nok haaks op de straat staat. Het dak is gedekt met Hollandse pannen. De gevel is gepleisterd uitgevoerd op een hardstenen plint. In het pleisterwerk zijn blokken in rustica uitgevoerd, verder is de gevel rijk voorzien van lijsten in het pleisterwerk die de geleding van de gevel benadrukken.
Het rechterdeel van de gevel telt op elke verdieping twee ramen waarvan de bovenlichten op de eerste en tweede verdieping gevuld zijn met glas-in-lood. De ramen op de tweede verdieping zijn in omlijstingen met kuiven gevat. Ook de overige ramen worden door vlakken in het pleisterwerk benadrukt. Het linkerdeel wordt gevormd door een risaliet met op de begane grond een ingang, links daarvan een klein schuifraam met in het bovenlicht een voorstelling van een luitspeler, naar het schilderij van Frans Hals. Erboven een breed balkon op consoles met koppen en druiven versierd. Het balkon heeft een smeedijzeren hekwerk en openslaande deuren. Op de tweede verdieping is een breed T-raam in classicistische omlijsting met fronton aangebracht. De gevel wordt afgesloten door een kroonlijst met gootlijst op met koppen versierde consoles.
Aan de achterkant is over de gehele breedte van de gevel een uitbouw gemaakt. Op de begane grond is het metselwerk vernieuwd, daarboven een houten serre waarboven een balkon. Op de verdieping zijn onder meer T-ramen aangebracht.

The house has three storeys with the ground floor much lower than the two storeys above. It has a rectangular plan and a hipped roof with the ridge perpendicular to the street. The roof is covered with Dutch tiles. The façade is rendered on a hard stone plinth. In the render, blocks are executed in rustication, and the façade is further richly provided with mouldings in the render which emphasise the articulation of the façade.
The right part of the façade has two windows on each storey, the fanlights on the first and second storeys filled with leaded glass. The windows on the second storey are set in surrounds with cornices. The remaining windows are also emphasised by planes in the render. The left part is formed by a risalit with on the ground floor an entrance, to its left a small sash window with in the fanlight a depiction of a lute player, after the painting by Frans Hals. Above it a broad balcony on consoles decorated with heads and grapes. The balcony has a wrought-iron railing and casement doors. On the second storey a broad T-window in classical surround with pediment has been inserted. The façade is finished with a cornice and gutter moulding on consoles decorated with heads.
On the rear, an extension has been made across the full width of the façade. On the ground floor the brickwork has been renewed, above it a wooden conservatory with above it a balcony. On the storey T-windows have been inserted among other things.
