De erfafscheiding bestaat uit acht gemetselde pijlers met ertussen smeedijzeren hekken op een lage schansmuur met ezelsrug. In het midden twee gesmede poorten.

Het hekwerk is van algemeen belang. Het is onderdeel van een complex met cultuurhistorische waarden: als uitdrukking van de stedelijke ontwikkeling na de ontmanteling van Breda. Het heeft ensemblewaarde: het is een typerend onderdeel van de stationswijk, die tot stand kwam na de ontmanteling van de stad.
