DUBBELE DIENSTWONING, eenlaags pand op een rechthoekige plattegrond, voorzien van een zadeldak waarvan de nok evenwijdig aan de straat loopt. De woningen zijn gespiegeld ten opzichte van elkaar en elk drie traveeen breed. Het geheel is uitgevoerd in baksteen. Het dak is gedekt met leisteen en heeft een gootlijst, deze lijst loopt over dezelfde hoogte om de zijgevel door. De topgevel is hier voorzien van windveren. De deuren bevinden zich in het midden van de gevel, aan weerszijden daarvan zijn twee beluikte schuiframen met een kleine roedenverdeling aangebracht. De schuiframen in de zijgevel zijn met luiken uitgevoerd. Boven de deuren en ramen zijn in de strekken aanzet- en sluitstenen in natuursteen geplaatst. Verspreid in het dakvlak bevinden zich dakkapellen waarvan de middelste bekroond wordt door een fronton. Ook de ramen van de dakkapellen zijn voorzien van een kleine roedenverdeling. Midden in het dakvlak (tussen de dakkapellen) staan zowel aan de voor- als aan de achterzijde van het dak, hoge smalle schoorstenen.
Voor de woningen is een smalle strook groen aanwezig, van de straat gescheiden door middel van een smeedijzeren hek.

De dienstwoning is van algemeen belang. Het pand heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van een culturele en sociaal-economische ontwikkeling, met name de stichting van een buitenplaats voor de oprichter van de Philipsfabrieken binnen een nieuw opgezet villapark. DOUBLE COTTAGE, single-storey building on a rectangular plan, provided with a gabled roof of which the ridge runs parallel to the street. The dwellings are mirrored in relation to each other and each three bays wide. The whole is executed in brick. The roof is covered with slate and has a cornice, this moulding runs at the same height around the side facade. The stepped gable is here provided with wind vanes. The doors are situated in the centre of the facade, on either side of which two shuttered sash windows with small glazing bars have been installed. The sash windows in the side facade are executed with shutters. Above the doors and windows abutment and closing stones in natural stone have been placed in the lintels. Scattered in the roof plane there are roof dormers, the middle one being crowned by a pediment. The windows of the roof dormers are also provided with small glazing bars.
