Omschrijving
KOETSHUIS, uit ca. 1907 gebouwd door J.W. Hanrath met Hollands Classicistische elementen. Eénlaags, vrijstaand pand op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder schilddak waarvan de nok evenwijdig aan de straat loopt. Het geheel is uitgevoerd in baksteen, de voorgevel wordt in drie brede traveeën verdeeld door middel van lisenen. Boven de middelste travee is een fronton aangebracht. In het midden van de gevel bevindt zich een brede getoogde dubbele deur met bovenlicht met waaiervormige roedenverdeling. De deur is in een geprofileerde band gevat. Aan weerszijden een ovaal raampje, in het fronton hierboven een rond licht. Aan weerszijden van de deur een vierruitsraam met luiken, gevuld met glas-in-lood. Aanzet- en sluitstenen zijn uitgevoerd in natuursteen. Het pand is voorzien van een gepleisterde kroonlijst en gootlijst. In het dakvlak aan de voorzijde, aan weerszijden van het timpaan, zijn dakkapellen aangebracht. Deze zijn voorzien van een topgevel met windveren. De vierruitsramen zij gevuld met glas-in-lood. Dezelfde dakkapellen zijn in de zijkant aangebracht.

Het KOETSHUIS is van algemeen belang. Het pand heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van een culturele en sociaal-economische ontwikkeling, met name de stichting van een buitenplaats voor de oprichter van de Philipsfabrieken binnen een nieuw opgezet villapark. Het is van belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van een technische en typologische ontwikkeling. COACH HOUSE, built around 1907 by J.W. Hanrath with Dutch Classicistic elements. Single-storey, detached building on a rectangular ground plan under a hipped roof with the ridge running parallel to the street. The whole is executed in brick, the front facade is divided into three broad bays by means of pilaster strips. Above the central bay a pediment has been applied. In the middle of the facade is a broad arched double door with fanlight with fan-shaped glazing bars. The door is set in a moulded frame. On either side an oval window pane; above this in the pediment a round light. On either side of the door a four-pane window with shutters, filled with leaded glass. Quoin and closing stones are executed in natural stone. The building is provided with a rendered cornice and gutter moulding. In the roof plane at the front, on either side of the tympanum, roof dormers have been inserted. These are provided with a stepped gable with weathervanes. The four-pane windows are filled with leaded glass. The same dormers are positioned on the side elevation.
