De woningen zijn gebouwd naar plannen W.M. Dudok in 1937, in samenwerking met aannemer P. van Grootel en maken deel uit van de wijk 'Het Witte Dorp'.

Rij tweelaags panden. Op de begane grond is een erker aangebracht, waarvan de afdekking als een luifel doorloopt tot boven de deur. Op de verdieping zijn dicht op elkaar geplaatste vierruitsramen zichtbaar. Het laatste pand van de rij aan het Burghplein heeft een blinde zijgevel. Aan de andere zijde wordt de rij afgesloten door eerste Wilakkerstraat 2, een tweelaags hoekpand op L-vormige plattegrond, waarbij boven de deur een luifel is aangebracht. Op de verdieping is een klein balkon met metalen buizenhek geplaatst. Vanaf het uiteinde van deze voorgevel loopt een muur naar de schuur.

De woonhuizen zijn van algemeen belang.
