De woningen zijn gebouwd naar plannen van W.M. Dudok in 1937, in samenwerking met aannemer P. van Grootel en maken deel uit van de wijk 'Het Witte Dorp'.

Rij drielaags panden. Op de begane grond is een samengesteld raam aangebracht. Op de eerste verdieping bevinden zich een rond raam en een samengesteld raam in combinatie met een deur, die naar een zich verder over de gevel uitstrekkend balkon voert. Op de tweede verdieping zijn dicht op elkaar geplaatste vierruitsramen zichtbaar. Tegen de zijgevel van het eindpand, Burghplein 7 is een klein balkon op de eerste verdieping aangebracht. Van het adres Burghstraat 49 bevindt de drielaagse zijgevel zich aan het plein en heeft samengestelde ramen. Aan de kant van de Burghstraat is boven de voordeur een luifel aangebracht.
