Omschrijving
Op een L-vormige plattegrond gerealiseerde conciërge-woning. De plattegrond is aan de zuid-westelijke zijde naar binnen geknikt. De woning is in donkerbruine baksteen gemetseld en staat op een natuurstenen plint. Het gebouw bestaat uit twee bouwlagen waarbij de twee rechter traveeën een tweede verdieping hebben gekregen. Het geheel wordt gedekt door een plat dak. De woning is aan de zuid-westelijke zijde verbonden met de school.
De voorgevel aan de Passeerdersgracht bestaat uit vijf traveeën. De meest rechts gelegen travee is naar binnen geknikt. De eenvoudige ingang bevindt zich in de smallere middentravee en bestaat uit een, door de plint brekende, rechthoekige deur met bovenlicht onder een natuurstenen bovendorpel. Daarboven, op de eerste verdieping, een zesruits schuifraam met drieruits bovenlicht. De vier overige traveeën hebben zowel beganegronds als op de eerste verdieping elk eveneens een zesruits schuifraam met drieruits bovenlicht. Beganegronds zijn de vensters voorzien van natuurstenen boven- en onderdorpels. Op de eerste verdieping zijn de bovendorpels met elkaar verbonden bij wijze van cordonband. De tweede verdieping van de twee rechts gelegen traveeën heeft in elke travee eveneens een (kleiner) venster met doorlopende bovendorpels.
Segmentvormige nissen boven het bovenlicht van de ingang en boven alle vensters .
Waardering
In neo-classicistische stijl opgetrokken conciërge-woning van belang als onderdeel van een schoolcomplex, verder bestaande uit een Handelsschool en een gymnastiekgebouw.

Realized on an L-shaped ground plan, a caretaker's lodge. The ground plan is bent inward at the south-western side. The dwelling is constructed in dark brown brick and stands on a natural stone plinth. The building consists of two storeys whereby the two rightmost bays have received a second storey. The whole is covered by a flat roof. The dwelling is on the south-western side connected with the school.
The front facade on the Passeerdersgracht consists of five bays. The rightmost located bay is bent inward. The simple entrance is located in the narrower middle bay and consists of a, breaking through the plinth, rectangular door with fanlight under a natural stone lintel. Above, on the first storey, a six-pane sash window with three-pane fanlight. The four remaining bays have on both ground floor and on the first storey each likewise a six-pane sash window with three-pane fanlight. On the ground floor the windows are provided with natural stone lintels and sills. On the first storey the lintels are connected with each other in the manner of a drip-moulding. The second storey of the two rightmost bays has in each bay likewise a (smaller) window with continuous lintels.
