Inleiding.
ONZE LIEVE VROUWEKAPEL, geplaatst ter linkerzijde van het hekwerk van de villa aan de Daniël de Brouwerstraat 28. Het oorspronkelijke kapelletje werd op deze plek gebouwd door Petrus Koymans (1732-1810), de tweede opvolger van Daniël de Brouwer. Het werd tussen 1871 en 1878 ommetseld en kreeg toen de huidige vorm. In de loop van de tijd hebben er verschillende Mariabeelden in gestaan.
Omschrijving.
Het kapelletje heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en is opgetrokken uit handvorm baksteen. Het zadeldak is belegd met zwarte Oudhollandse dakpannen. De kleine kapel is van het nistype. De nis wordt afgesloten door een getralied ijzeren hek.
In de rondboognis staat een polychroom Mariareliëf van geglazuurd keramiek. Deze Maria van Altijddurende Bijstand is rond 1960 vervaardigd.
De topgevel van de kapel wordt op de hoeken en de top bekroond door obelisken.
Waardering.
Het kapelletje is van algemeen belang. OUR LADY'S CHAPEL, placed to the left side of the fence of the villa at Daniël de Brouwerstraat 28. The original small chapel was built at this location by Petrus Koymans (1732-1810), the second successor of Daniël de Brouwer. It was repointed between 1871 and 1878 and received its present form then. Over time various Mary figures have been placed in it.

The small chapel has a rectangular plan and is built of hand-molded brick. The gabled roof is covered with black Oudhollandse roof tiles. The small chapel is of the niche type. The niche is closed off by a latticed iron gate.
In the round-arch niche stands a polychrome Mary relief of glazed ceramic. This Mary of Perpetual Help was made around 1960.
The gable end of the chapel is crowned at the corners and the top by obelisks.
