Omschrijving
Capucijnenklooster waarvan de oudste kern uit 1839-1850-1855 dagtekent en bestaat uit vier om een vierkante hof gelegen vleugels in eenvoudige klassicistische stijl; een der vleugels wordt gevormd door de kapel, een zaalgebouw met inwendige ordonnantie in stucwerk (pilasters, kooflijst, tongewelf) en met altaarretabel en preekstoel in barokke trant.
In de klooster-inventaris drie 17e eeuwse kasten en een aantal 17e- en 18e eeuwse schilderijen: taferelen uit de gewijde geschiedenis (David en Nathan; Opwekking van Lazares; Antonius van Padua: Maria Magdalena; Kruisiging, Antonius Abt, Franciscus; Marteling van Laurentius, 1741, Kruisiging, 1638; acht doeken met Evangelisten en Kerkvaders, 18e eeuw; twee doeken onderscheidenlijk voorstellende de verschijning van de Verrezen Christus aan Petrus en aan Thomas; reeks 18e eeuwse portretten van Capucijnen). 17e eeuws houten kruisbeeld in de kloostergang.

Description
Capuchin convent of which the oldest core dates from 1839-1850-1855 and consists of four wings arranged around a square courtyard in simple Classical style; one of the wings is formed by the chapel, a hall building with internal ordonnance in stucco (pilasters, cornice, barrel vault) and with altarpiece and pulpit in Baroque manner.
In the convent inventory three 17th century cupboards and a number of 17th and 18th century paintings: scenes from sacred history (David and Nathan; Raising of Lazarus; Anthony of Padua; Mary Magdalene; Crucifixion, Anthony the Abbot, Francis; Martyrdom of Lawrence, 1741, Crucifixion, 1638; eight canvases depicting Evangelists and Church Fathers, 18th century; two canvases respectively showing the appearance of the Risen Christ to Peter and to Thomas; series of 18th century portraits of Capuchins). 17th century wooden crucifix in the convent cloister.
These buildings adjoin the somewhat older "Nieuwe Kluis", founded in 1741, of which the present buildings date from the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century.
