Inleiding

Ensemble bestaande uit acht KASSEN met historische DRUIVENBOMEN gebouwd in verschillende periodes in de eerste helft van de twintigste eeuw, en van verschillende typen en afmetingen. Het complex kan worden onderverdeeld in een rij met twee groepen van elk drie kassen en een rij van twee kassen.

Omschrijving

Alle kassen zijn geplaatst op een betonnen plint en hebben ijzeren of houten constructieonderdelen, of een combinatie van beiden. In alle acht kassen bevinden zich historische druivenbomen.

De samengestelde kas direct naast de watertoren heeft houten enkelvoudige spanten. De deuren zijn in hout uitgevoerd. De wat terugliggende en diepere kas uit deze groep heeft eveneens een houten deur, maar ijzeren constructieonderdelen.

De tweede groep van drie kassen zijn dubbel gebroken serres die zijn samengesteld uit voormalige negentiende-eeuwse muurkassen. Ook deze kassen hebben houten deuren en eenvoudige ijzeren spanten.

De groep van twee kassen, waarvan de kas naast de tuinmuur de oudste is, hebben ijzeren constructieonderdelen en eveneens houten deuren.
