Inleiding
De STAL is ten zuid-westen van de boerderij gebouwd in 1863 in een Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl als onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex 'Breedam'.
Omschrijving
Het eenlaagse pand is opgetrokken in grauwe baksteen onder een met Tuile du Nordpannen gedekt zadeldak.
De voorgevel (oost) heeft links een dubbele rechtgesloten inrijdeur en rechts daarvan twee getoogde staldeuren. Daarboven een hooiluik onder een keperboogvormig bovenlicht. De geveltop, tussen de doorgestoken dakgordingen is beschoten.
In de zuidelijke zijgevel zijn twee, in de noordelijke zijgevel zijn drie gietijzeren stalvensters geplaatst. In de achtergevel is een klein vierruits venster geplaatst.
Waardering
De stal is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als typologisch en gaaf bewaard voorbeeld van een stal uit het de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw, gebouwd in een Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl en als functioneel en ruimtelijk onderdeel, behorend bij een boerderijcomplex dat beeldbepalend gelegen is aan het Haantje.

The STABLE built south-west of the farmhouse in 1863 in a Traditional Craft style as part of the farm complex 'Breedam'.

The single-storey building is erected in grey brick beneath a gabled roof covered with Tuile du Nord tiles.
The front facade (east) has on the left a double straight carriage door and to the right of it two arched stable doors. Above it a hayloft door beneath a twill-arched fanlight. The gable head, between the through-running roof beams, is boarded.
In the southern side facade are two, in the northern side facade are three cast-iron barn windows placed. In the rear facade a small four-light window is placed.
Valuation
The stable is of general importance owing to its cultural- and architectural-historical value as a typological and well-preserved example of a stable from the second half of the 19th century, built in a Traditional Craft style and as a functional and spatial component, belonging to a farm complex which is visually prominent on the Haantje.
