Inleiding
PAARDENSTAL annex KARNSCHUUR, deel uitmakend van het hoofdzakelijk in 1863 gebouwde boerderijcomplex 'Breedam', in sobere Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl uitgevoerd.
Omschrijving
Eenlaags pand opgetrokken in gele ijsselsteen (kruisverband) onder een met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak.
De oostelijke voorgevel is blind uitgevoerd.
In de noordelijke zijgevel is een opgeklampte deur geplaatst onder een vierruits bovenlicht. Tegen de zuidelijke gevel is een privaat gebouwd met een poepdoos.
In de achtergevel (west) bevindt zich een dubbele inrijdeur met daarboven een hooiluik onder een vierruits bovenlicht.
Interieur In de voorste deel bevond zich de karnschuur waarvan met klinkers bestrate karnvloer en de houten aandrijfas nog bewaard gebleven zijn.

De paardenstal annex karnschuur is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een bij een boerderijcomplex behorend gebouwtype uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw, gebouwd in Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl.

Description
Single-storey building erected in yellow Ijssel brick (English bond) beneath a gabled roof covered with combed Dutch tiles.
The eastern front facade is blank.
In the northern side facade a clamped door is placed beneath a four-light fanlight. Against the southern facade a privy is built with a poop box.
In the rear facade (west) is a double carriage door with above it a hayloft door beneath a four-light fanlight.
Interior In the front part was the churn barn of which the brick-paved churn floor and the wooden drive shaft have been preserved.

The horse stable annex churn barn is of general importance owing to its cultural- and architectural-historical value as an example of a building type belonging to a farm complex from the second half of the 19th century, built in Traditional Craft style.
