Inleiding
De noordelijk van de boerderij gelegen STAL is gebouwd in 1863 in Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl als onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex Breedam.
Omschrijving
Het eenlaagse pand is opgetrokken in grauwe baksteen (kruisverband) en heeft een met Tuile du Nord gedekt zadeldak.
De voorgevel (west) is een tuitgevel en heeft drie getoogde, opgeklampte deuren onder een groot hooiluik.
In de beide zijgevels van deze stal zijn twee gietijzeren stalvensters met roedenverdeling (type wybertje) geplaatst. De achtergevel is blind.
Waardering
De stal is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als typologisch voorbeeld van een stal uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw, gebouwd in Traditioneel Ambachtelijke stijl en als functioneel en ruimtelijk onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex dat beeldbepalend gelegen is aan de Kastanjewetering.

The STABLE situated north of the farmhouse was built in 1863 in Traditional Craft style as part of the farm complex Breedam.

The single-storey building is erected in grey brick (English bond) and has a gabled roof covered with Tuile du Nord.
The front facade (west) is a spout gable and has three arched, clamped doors beneath a large hayloft door.
In both side facades of this stable are two cast-iron barn windows with glazing bar pattern (type wybertje) placed. The rear facade is blank.
Valuation
The stable is of general importance owing to its cultural- and architectural-historical value as a typological example of a stable from the second half of the 19th century, built in Traditional Craft style and as a functional and spatial component of the farm complex which is visually prominent on the Kastanjewetering.
