Inleiding

BOERDERIJ van het langhuistype, maakt onderdeel uit van het boerderijcomplex "Paulinaburch", gebouwd tussen 1885 en 1890 in opdracht van de heer Repelaer met een voorgevel met stedelijke allure uitgevoerd in neorenaissancestijl.

Omschrijving

Boerderij bestaande uit een twee bouwlagen tellend, onderkelderd, woonhuis en een smaller schuurgedeelte. De gevels zijn vanaf een gepleisterde plint opgetrokken in rode baksteen met zijgevels van grauwe baksteen (kruisverband met knipvoeg). Het zadeldak is gedekt met verbeterde Hollandse pannen, op het lager gelegen zadeldak van de stal liggen gesmoorde oudhollandse pannen. De voorgevel (noord) is een trapgevel met sierankers en een windvaan in de top. De zesruits schuifvensters bevinden zich onder korfbogen met gepleisterde aanzet- en sluitstenen met diamantkop. In de boogvelden is siermetselwerk aangebracht. In het rechter deel van de gevel zijn twee keldervensters geplaatst, verder is de gevel symmetrisch opgebouwd met een centraal geplaatste entree die bestaat uit een paneeldeur met sierroosters onder een gebogen fronton. De deur heeft een bovenlicht met een gietijzeren levensboommotief. Aan weerszijden van de entree zijn twee vensters, op de verdieping zijn drie vensters met zes ramen geplaatst.

De linker zijgevel van het woonhuis (oost) heeft drie zesruits schuifvensters en een entree binnen een houten omlijsting met kroonlijst. De deur bevindt zich onder een bovenlicht met levensboom. De iets terugliggende stalgevel bevat gietijzeren stalvensters, twee rondboogvormige staldeuren, een dubbele rechtgesloten inrijdeur en een hooiluik.

De achtergevel van de boerderij is gepleisterd en voorzien van twee stalvensters.

De linker gevel van het woonhuis bezit drie keldervensters, drie zesruits schuifvensters en een gedeelde deur. In de stal zijn gebogen stalvensters geplaatst, een dubbele rechtgesloten deur binnen een gepleisterde omlijsting, een rondboogvormige en een rechtgesloten deur. In de gevel zijn muurankers bevestigd.

Interieur Van het interieur zijn slechts vermeldenswaard de houten standvinken, groepen, een trog en klinkerbestrating in de driebeukige stal.

FARMHOUSE of the long-house type, forming part of the farmstead complex "Paulinaburch", built between 1885 and 1890 on behalf of Mr. Repelaer with a front facade of urban character executed in Neo-Renaissance style.

Description

Farmhouse consisting of a two-storey, cellar-underneath dwelling house and a narrower barn section. The facades are built in red brick from a rendered plinth, with gable walls of grey brick (English bond with snapped headers). The gabled roof is covered with improved Dutch tiles, while the lower gabled roof of the stable is covered with hidden old Dutch tiles. The front facade (north) is a stepped gable with ornamental wall anchors and a weather vane at the top. The six-light sash windows are located beneath segmental arches with rendered springer and closing stones with diamond points. Ornamental brickwork is applied in the arch spandrels. In the right part of the facade two cellar windows are placed; furthermore the facade is built symmetrically with a centrally placed entrance consisting of a panel door with ornamental grilles beneath a curved pediment. The door has a fanlight with a cast-iron Tree of Life motif. On either side of the entrance are two windows; on the upper storey three windows with six panes are placed.

The left side gable of the dwelling house (east) has three six-light sash windows and an entrance within a wooden frame with cornice. The door is located beneath a fanlight with Tree of Life. The slightly recessed stable gable contains cast-iron stable windows, two round-arched stable doors, a double straight-closed carriage entrance and a hay loft door.

The rear facade of the farmhouse is rendered and provided with two stable windows.

The left gable of the dwelling house has three cellar windows, three six-light sash windows and a divided door. In the stable curved stable windows are placed, a double straight-closed door within a rendered frame, a round-arched and a straight-closed door. Ornamental wall anchors are attached to the gable.

Interior The only noteworthy elements of the interior are the wooden pillars, beams, a trough and clinker paving in the three-aisled stable.
