Inleiding.
De KOP-HALS-ROMPBOERDERIJ met de naam Hetty-farm is in 1928 gebouwd naar ontwerp van architect Knapen uit Eersel en is gelegen in het Bergeykse kerkdorp 't Loo.
Omschrijving.
Het woonhuis ligt, afgeschermd van de weg door een voortuin, aan de straatzijde. Het eenlaagse pand heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en bezit een mansardedak met zwarte tuile-du-Nordpannen, met een steekkap in mansardevorm ter rechterzijde.
De gevels zijn opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen en zijn voorzien van siermetselwerk bij de vensters, deur en goot. Links is er in de voorgevel een gekoppeld schuifvenster met glas-in-lood bovenlichten. In het midden bevindt zich de paneeldeur in een rondboogportiek met glas-in-lood zij- en bovenlicht. In het dakschild hier boven bevindt zich een dakkapel onder lessenaardak. Rechts bezit de gevel een erker met afgeschuinde zijden, met schuifvensters. Hier boven een opengewerkte baksteen borstwering. Op het balkon deuren en zijramen. In de topgevel is de naam: "Hetty-farm" aangebracht. Rechts en links zijn hoge bakstenen schoorstenen gemetseld, er zijn ook schuifvensters en een dakkapel.
Het huis wordt met de stal verbonden door een smal tussenlid onder een zadeldak. De rechthoekige stal annex schuur onder zadeldak heeft rechts van het huis brede inrijdeuren. Hierboven is een rondboogvormig bovenlicht met straalverdeling. Een groot rondlicht in de topgevel. In de rechter gevel bevinden zich hoge staldeuren. De kop-hals-rompboerderij is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaaleconomische ontwikkeling en de vernieuwing van de landbouw in de Kempen in het interbellum en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de niet-streekeigen boerderij.
Architectuurhistorisch is het pand van belang vanwege de ornamentiek en bijzondere samenhang tussen exterieur en interieur. De boerderij is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het in- en exterieur en is als voorbeeld van een van elders overgenomen type in Noord-Brabant zeldzaam.
