Inleiding
Het eenvoudige WOONHUIS staat parallel aan de Helenavaart. Het dateert uit ca. 1915.
Omschrijving
Het eenlaags pand heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met betonpannen. Op de zuidelijke zijgevel staat een schoorsteen. De gevels zijn in baksteen gemetseld. De voorgevel heeft een a-symmetrische opzet met vier vensterassen. Van links naar rechts zijn twee zesruits schuifvensters geplaatst, een opgeklampte voordeur met gedeeld bovenlicht, en een derde zesruits schuifvenster. De vensters zijn voorzien van hardstenen dorpels. In de zuidelijke zijgevel zowel op de begane grond als op de kapverdieping twee zesruits schuifvensters.
Waardering
De boerderij is van algemeen belang. Het gebouwtje heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in het ontginningsgebied van de Peel en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de kleine boerderij.
Architectuurhistorisch is het van belang vanwege de sobere ornamentiek en de van de traditionele streekeigen vormen afwijkende opzet. Het heeft ensemblewaarden in samenhang met de nederzetting Helenaveen en directe omgeving. Het is gaaf bewaard gebleven.

The single-storey building has a rectangular plan and is covered by a gabled roof with concrete tiles. On the southern side facade stands a chimney. The facades are laid in brick. The front facade has an asymmetrical layout with four window bays. From left to right two six-paned sash windows are placed, a clamped front door with divided fanlight, and a third six-paned sash window. The windows are provided with sandstone sills. In the southern side facade both on the ground floor and on the roof storey two six-paned sash windows.
Valuation
The farmhouse is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical significance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the reclaimed area of the Peel and as an example of the typological development of the small farmhouse.
Architecturally it is of importance because of the sober ornamentation and the layout differing from traditional regional forms. It has ensemble values in connection with the settlement Helenaveen and its immediate surroundings. It has been well preserved.
